The “Original Traveling Hairstylist” founder is Connie A. Bean of Reading, PA. The business began in 1988 and has been featured in the a.m. Berks news and Reading Eagle Lifestyle newspaper.
The original business has expanded to include an outstanding team of licensed hair care professionals continuing the tradition by delivering excellent results to men, women and children in the Reading area and Berks County. The styling specialist will arrive with a suitcase on wheels filled with professional equipment and products.
Shampoo
If you are unable to bend at your kitchen sink for two gentle but firm shampoos, the stylist will turn the chair backwards at your kitchen sink and and place a unique “comforting cape” around your neck. As your head is slightly tilted back, our professional beauty service begins. If you are a bed patient, we provide a bed tray for shampooing.
Haircuts
A professional scizzor haircut and/or clipper cut will be used for a style of your choosing. We do it all! Short hair styles, long hair stlyes, fashionable one length “Bob’s” and more.
Perms
“The Traveling Hairstylist” uses only professional permanent waves. We do body perms, curly perms, and anything in between.
We have products for virgin hair as well as color treated hair.
We use only professional hair color products. We specialize in color that is pleasing, and if needed, we will condition your hair for best results.
Gentleman Haircuts
This service includes a shampoo, scizzor cut, clipper cut, and trim eyebrows and unwanted hair on ear surfaces.
Manicure
A full manicure is a relaxing experience and the stylist will provide a choice of several colors of nail polish.
Facial Waxing & Tweezing
This is a “must” for those unwanted hairs on the chin, upper lip and eyebrows.
